“Wonderful caring people. Highly recommend the staff to take care of your children.”

“My daughter loves coming to the after school program. She is always so busy in crafts, games, outdoor activities. She is never ready to leave!”

“We moved from out of state and my children had a hard time with the transition. The staff at BACC was so warm, welcoming and created a space where my children felt welcomed and valued. They supported them with their homework, guided them to make friends, as well as created wonderful arts and crafts for the children to participate in.”

“My son has been attending BACC since kindergarten and this is his last year. He will be going to 6th grade in the fall. BACC is like a family and they not only have provided amazing care for my son, they care about our family. My son was always busy with outdoor sports, creating things with blocks, or art materials. He also really liked the extra curricular science and group sports that BACC offered. We will miss BACC!”

“This is a fantastic child care/after-school program located within Gomes Elementary. My children attend and absolutely adore it. The staff is incredibly caring, loving, and attentive to the children. There's a large playground where the kids play once their activities are finished. We've never encountered any issues with them. The classrooms are spacious and bright, and there's a large playground. They also offer regular art, science, and dance classes”

“All 3 of my children have attended BACC. We couldn't be happier with the care and enrichment activities that they provided. Anytime my husband or I walked in, the children were always busy with some activity and would make us wait because they were not ready to leave. The ladies are wonderful, always greeted us, chatted with us, and truly knew our children, their different personalities and how to support them individually.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What are child care services?
Child care services refer to a range of programs and facilities that provide care and supervision for children, typically from infancy to age 12. These services can include daycare centers, preschools, and after-school programs, designed to support children's development and provide a safe environment while parents are at work or otherwise occupied.
How can I prepare my child for daycare?
To prepare your child for daycare, start by discussing what they can expect in a positive way. Visit the facility together, meet the caregivers, and talk about the activities they will do. Practice separation by spending short periods apart, and reassure your child that you will return to pick them up.
How do I choose a child care provider?
Choosing a child care provider involves several steps. First, consider your child's needs and your family's schedule. Research local providers, read reviews, and ask for recommendations from friends or family. Visit potential facilities, ask about their staff qualifications, safety measures, and curriculum, and trust your instincts about the environment and caregivers.
What should I look for in a daycare?
When looking for a daycare, consider factors such as staff-to-child ratios, safety protocols, cleanliness, and the overall atmosphere. Observe how staff interact with children and inquire about their training and experience. Additionally, check if the daycare has a structured curriculum that promotes learning and development.
Are child care services regulated?
Yes, child care services are regulated by state and local governments to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Regulations may include licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and staff training mandates. It's important to verify that any child care provider you consider is properly licensed and meets these regulations.
What are the benefits of child care?
Child care offers numerous benefits, including socialization opportunities for children, structured learning environments, and support for working parents. Quality child care can enhance a child's cognitive and emotional development, helping them build essential skills for future success in school and life.
How much does child care cost?
The cost of child care varies widely based on location, type of care, and the age of the child. On average, parents can expect to pay anywhere from $200 to $1,500 per month. It's important to research local rates and consider your budget when selecting a child care provider.
What age can my child start daycare?
Most daycare centers accept children as young as six weeks old, while some preschools may start at age three. The appropriate age for your child to start daycare depends on their readiness, your family's needs, and the specific policies of the daycare facility.
